temporary & SUmmER placements

Temporary care placements are designed for families who require help short term (i.e summer placements) for up to 4 months. Nounou Nanny sources and provides qualified nannies who meet the following criteria:

  • Have clean background and reference checks

  • Have at least 4 years of childcare experience

  • Are CPR and First Aid certified

  • Are at least 21 years of age

Temporary nannies provide the same customized care and household support as permanent nannies. It is up to the family to determine what level of responsibility their temporary help will take on.

The available nannies in our network come from a variety of backgrounds. From college students to career nannies, teachers, and other professionals - all of our candidates are experienced in childcare. Unlike permanent placements, where families hand-select a nanny over the course of 4-8 weeks, temporarily placed childcare providers are assigned to the family by the agency.

In the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, the average nanny earns approximately $30+/ hour depending on their responsibilities and the number of children in their care.

SUMMER PLACEMENTS

Summer nanny placements are ideal for families who need support for their children between the months of May and August, while older children are out of school. They assist with summer activities and are able to travel with your family when on vacation. Planning domestic or overseas travel with your family nanny?
