The Nounou Nanny team is excited to match you with the ideal family for your skill sets and interests. In this role you will not be “just a nanny,” but an important part of the family unit, providing assistance and support as young minds grow and develop.

We want to get to know you as an individual while inviting you into our network of support as your career develops. Nounou Nanny provides ongoing support- even after your placement is complete. We encourage nanny networking so that caregivers can stay up to date with emerging and traditional childcare techniques and share their feedback and best practices.

Requirements for permanent and temporary placements include:

  • Clean background check

  • At least 3 current professional childcare references

  • Have at least 4 years of childcare experience

  • Are CPR and First Aid certified

  • Are a US citizen or legally able to work in the US

  • Are at least 21 years of age

  • Driver’s license and clean driving record (required when driving children)

    In addition, we love it when nannies possess the following attributes…

  • You are informed and can encourage children to participate in healthy habits like clean eating, exercise, and creative play.

  • You are familiar with the community and neighborhood you work in, and can suggest local kid-friendly activities, events, classes, etc.

  • You have the knowledge and ability to assist with growth and development milestones like potty training, independence, discipline, and structure.

  • You are proactive, organized, and experienced in household management, including coordinating family schedules, managing household errands, overseeing vendors, and maintaining an organized, smoothly running home.

  • You truly love supporting children and families and take pride in your work.
